With a diverse skill set ranging from dental assisting to office management, and now specializing in insurance and financial coordinating, Janet has been an integral part of ensuring smooth operations within the dental office.
Outside the office, Janet finds joy in family life, being married and raising three wonderful adult children. Embracing the beauty of nature, Janet is an avid camper and boater, relishing every opportunity to bask in the sunshine and explore the great outdoors with loved ones, especially her two Newfoundland’s. With a passion for both professional excellence and cherished personal moments, Janet exemplifies a balanced and fulfilling life.
I started as a dental assistant at Stockton Dental Center in 1996. I graduated from Rock Valley College, where I attended Dental Assisting classes. I also received my certificate for coronal polishing and dental sealants. I continue my education by attending seminars and dental meetings. I love my participation with the Stockton Dental Team. I am involved in helping Dr. Petras provide quality dentistry while making sure the patient feels comfortable and at ease. I understand how stressful going to dentist can be for some people & I am there to help you overcome this.
My husband and I have 5 children and 8 grandchildren. We both have graduated from the area. I enjoy seeing friends and family in the office. I try my best to make everyone feel comfortable in the Dental Office.
Hi! I’m Amie, a dental assistant at Stockton Dental Center. I graduated from Madison College in August 2025, where I took the dental assistant course. I also played a year of college softball, which was an amazing opportunity!! But I had to make a hard decision and decide that it was time to come back home and start my new journey! Becoming a part of Stockton Dental has allowed me to continue to develop my skills. I have been able to create bonds with patients and staff I will have forever!
I graduated from River Ridge, where I went to school most of my life. I love keeping my schedule packed, allowing for little down time. If I am not at the dental office you can usually find me spending time with family and friends or reading a book!
Believe it or not, my interest in the dental field actually started at a very young age. Yes, I know, I know – Yuck! Teeth!? Why Teeth!? Well, to cut a long story short, I was a thumb sucker (ahhh!) – And in order to correct “damage” done I was to enter in to braces. And to be in them for 3 years! This, at that age, felt like an eternity! However, during those 3 years, I started to develop a real interest in the world of dentistry. Nine years later, in the spring of 2010, I graduated from Parkland College with a degree in Dental Hygiene and was able to FINALLY achieve and reach my dream job!
I officially joined Stockton Dental Center and Dr. Petras staff in September 2015. Becoming a part of the Stockton team has added so much to my career as a hygienist. In my seven years of hygiene I can honestly say I’ve never been a part of a team so strong & dedicated to education and comradery. This all just adds to a life that is fulfilled with family, friends, travel, and all things outdoors!!
I have been a dental hygienist here at Stockton Dental Center since August 2003. I really enjoy working with Dr. Petras and the entire staff. I think we all work great as a team.
I have 3 healthy and beautiful kids, Gracie, Jeremiah, and Silas. I love spending time with my children. They grow up so fast. The older they get, the busier I get, but enjoying every minute. In my spare time, I love to go running and have completed 2 half marathons so far but would love to do more in the future.
Hi! I’m Dayna, a dental hygienist at Stockton Dental Center. I’ve been in the dental field since 2001, starting as a dental assistant before graduating from hygiene school in 2006. I truly love what I do, especially connecting with patients and helping them find practical, personalized ways to improve their dental health. I believe a healthy, confident smile can truly light up the world.
My husband and I live just outside of Warren, IL, where we’re raising our three active daughters. Our lives are filled with sports, travel, and time outdoors, especially in the warm weather I love! Even with a packed schedule, I find great joy in balancing family life with my professional growth. I’m so grateful to be part of a team at Stockton Dental Center that encourages ongoing education and innovation in dental care.
I started working at Stockton Dental Center in August 2023. I have worked in several customer service jobs. I knew nothing about dentistry, but the staff here at Stockton Dental Center have been great to learn from!
I am originally from Apple River, IL and currently reside with my husband, Brian, in the Lena area. I have one daughter and one son.
